RC Junk was recommended to me a year ago, when I needed help removing items from my home in preparation a home sale. I postponed the sale, but I still had the contact information in my phone a year later! I was impressed by their timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism, as well as the fair price estimate.I called to request help this year but I was overwhelmed with sorting and purging. To my surprise and relief, RC Junk offered to help me with that process as well! The crew came in like an Army and went to work. They literally pulled boxed from closets as I went item by item making decisions about what to toss, keep, or donate. As we sorted, they took the items in bags or boxes, even large heavy items, and loaded them into their truck!These guys were amazing! I've been bragging to all of my neighbors about them and I'm sure they will get more business from my friends and neighbors. But I'm going to call them again myself to help me finish up my process! Wow, just wow! This is one of the best companies I have ever done business with. My house will be power washed and painted next week and I needed to remove some heavy wooden outdoor furniture from my deck. I found RC Junk Hauling through a Google search and called this morning. MaryAnn answered the phone and said they had an opening this afternoon. I mentioned that I had a larger job that could be done later, and she suggested that we do everything today. She called me 30 minutes before arrival. Rudy came with two workers, looked the project over, and gave me a fair price. Just over an hour later everything was done -- the deck furniture and a pile of stuff stacked next to my shed for years, including a wheelbarrow, wooden boat, ladder, grill, sawhorses, plant pots, and several black trash bags. I wish I had thought to take pictures but everything happened so fast! The guys were courteous, careful, efficient, and really strong. I am now motivated to clear out other areas of my house, knowing I have the right team to help me get rid of decades worth of accumulated stuff.

This company is amazing. We’re moving and put our mattresses and other trash at our curb. Then got a citation from the city stating mattresses had to be plastic wrapped and taped. We definitely didn’t have time to get those materials! Called RC Junk Hauling and Rudy was there within the hour! He is so kind and friendly! Customer service - EXCELLENT! They were professional,efficient, friendly and personable.They arrived on an extremely hot July day and due to recently having our driveway repaved they could not park on our driveway, so they had to haul all the way to their truck in the street.They arrived quickly, assessed gave us a fair price and immediately got to work. They were very thorough and even swept leaving the space spotless.Maryann who handles the administrative end is also excellent! She was responsive, friendly and professional. This is someone who means business!! I was going back and forth about calling a junk hauler. I did one more search and RC popped up. I highly recommend RC and his company. I was in the process of downsizing/moving and needed some bulk trash removed asap before my house went on the market. I did a quick Google search on Friday and RC and his team were able to pick up the next day!!! He and his wife were so nice and a pleasure to work with. They're also based in Upper Marlboro, MD so that was a plus as well.If you have items in you home that you can't carry and get to the County Dump and need some strong men, please give RC and his wife a call!!

The home contained a lifetime of furniture and other items that required disposal to prepare the home for sale.The crew showed up and work tirelessly for two days to completely rid the property of all items. I called RC Junk in the afternoon on Friday and they showed up Saturday morning to remove a huge amount of trash and junk in our garage and even moved a heavy bed from an upstairs bedroom to take away. They were fast and very neat - they even swept up the garage after removing the trash! Rudy was great and the price was reasonable. We will be using them again. I recommend.

The guys were amazing!! They disconnected and removed our very old and heavy washer and dryer from the basement. They navigated tight spaces with care for our home and got the job done quickly. I decided to contact RC Junk Hauling because of their amazing reviews, and I’m glad I followed my hunch. I had some junk leftover from a recent move that we weren’t able to sell, and they had me conveniently scheduled within a week with same day hauling.The quote was great, their crew and site supervisor was professional, friendly, on time, and very fast. Within 30 minutes they had my garage cleared out and were on their way. I was referred to RC Junk Hauling by a friend of 30yrs who is very reluctant to recommend companies unless they are very good. Our business needed to clear out final items after 50yrs in business and Maryanne(Sp) took our initial call…We knew this was going to be a great end to our move out. Maryanne was warm, professional, and knowledgeable. We had text confirmation of our appointment and a reminder text the day of. After renovating my 2 top floors, I ended up with a basement full of furniture and junk that never made it back upstairs in the new space. Rudy came with his team and helped me part with years of furniture and stuff that was past its prime. He instructed his team that anything they were unsure about to ask me before putting it on the truck. However, the kindest thing he did, was open the final boxes and let me have a last look and perhaps keep one thing. So, I never felt rushed. They worked efficiently and effectively. Rudi and Miguel did an excellent job with removal of various items from a furnace, small furniture, large roll of carpet barrier and more. I don't know how they did it! Service was fast and they were very courteous even when I added a few items. I'm a general contractor and my regular hauler had become completely unreliable. Searched Google and called a few companies before reaching RC Junk Hauling. We had random concrete pieces buried throughout our yard. Some was mixed in with the stone on our property line wall. We lugged it into a few piles.RC was the 3rd company we used for removal. They hauled 7 tons!!! Originally quoted $550 😲!Upon realizing the actual amount we had they apologized and said we need to charge you $650, if that’s okay. Okay?!The last crew, College Hunks, took a small rationing and charged us $1,000 mixing it in with other items in their truck.Rudi kindly explained to my husband mixing the materials in the truck costs exponentially more to dump. He asked if they could bring back an empty truck so it would cost us less!!Wait. You want to charge us less?! Sign me up…We understand hauling concrete is expensive. We understand that each project presents challenges. We have no driveway or alley access to our backyard. These guys hauled 7 tons from our backyard to the front and down 8 steps! 👏🏼We are grateful for this local small business. We will use them again!!

The company did an EXCELLENT good removing the concrete retaining wall that fell in my yard! They were fast, efficient & professional! This was a major undertaking, that required them to. cut the concrete along with shoveling the gravel. I LOVE the finished work. Not to mention that everything was cleaned up!!! Let me first start off by saying how amazing Maryann was when I called to explain what we needed for services to be provided at our home. She was such a pleasure to speak with and explained everything perfectly! I am 4 months pregnant and we needed to remove junk from our basement to make room to transport our gym room to the basement to now make a baby room where the gym room was. This company is awesome! We called about getting some paints (both latex paint and oil-based, plus some wood stain) and furniture and just general junk removed, and the whole process was easy and convenient! From the initial call with Maryann to having Rudy and the crew come over the next morning to give us a quote, it was all amazing! The price was competitive (and we got several quotes from local companies) and very fair. The clean-up was quick and the service was friendly, everyone we worked with was delightful! First Mrs Maryann is awesome wholesome very welcoming and was a huge help! Really appreciate herAll 3 of the guys were great, they arrived early before the allotted time and started working right away. Was very timely and actually knocked everything out very fast! RC Junk was contacted to clean out an entire 3 level garage townhome including furniture, clothes, kitchenware, etc. everything in the house. They showed up on time and worked tirelessly until the job was completed to my satisfaction. The personal were professional and courteous. I was left with removing tree grinding and ended up with 30 bags. I found out our recycle company doesn't take mulch. So I was on my own to remove it from my backyard. I called RC JUNK on Sunday and was estactic that they remove mulch. They were able to fit me in the next day. They came the next day and took it all away. Very good price. Thank all of you very much.

The entire process from start to finish was so easy! The most impressive part was that I was able to text pictures of the items I wanted removed and was then called with an accurate and fair quote within 10 minutes! Mary Ann was accommodating to my schedule and called 30 mins before to let me know the crew was on the way! This is also a local Maryland based company and not a national chain. I prefer to give my money to local businesses. The crew arrived on time; were extremely friendly and were in and out in no time. I highly recommend using their services!

I am happy to give this review. I was in need of junk removal on Wednesday and every company I called, did not offer same day service. Dejected, I was driving home from work and saw RC’s company truck. I pulled over and called the number that was on the side on the truck. Not only was the lady on the phone professional she was able to get a truck to my house within the hour. The guys came in, removed all of the junk that had accumulated over 4years within the same hour. They arrived a little after 7p and was completely finished before 7:45p. Fast, friendly and efficient!!! I definitely would recommend and I have already recommended them to others.

There was a large shed in my backyard that was old and rusty. I needed it to be taken apart and hauled away. Inside junk needed to be removed also. They also helped me to empty out my attic and as items were brought down I was given time to look and make sure what I might want to keep. I had a number of bags of clothing and shoes in large black trash bags that needed to go. The manager Rudy and his crew did an awesome job. There estimate was fair. They accomplished everything I needed done. I am very happy with their professional and friendly demeanor. I would definitely use R J again and recommend to my friends. 😃
