AFFORDABLE

RC Junk makes the cost to clean out a hoarder home a lot more affordable and much less intimidating than you might expect. Since our pricing is volume-based, you can assume the more junk we take, the more the quote will be. But don’t worry, we won’t start hauling hoarder junk until you’ve agreed to our quote.

Upfront. We can provide you with general estimate of the price for services when you book your appointment. Once we arrive onsite, we will survey the hoarder home, and then we can provide you with a price for our services.
Firm. Once we give you a final quote and you approve, we can get started with your cleanout. And of course, all labor and hauling expenses are included in our quotes, so you don’t have to worry about unexpected costs.
Pay. You can settle up with cash, card, check, or even a Zelle payment.

ECO-FRIENDLY

When we take on a junk removal job, we make sure to dispose of all junk in the most responsible and eco-friendly way, using eco-friendly disposal methods in the DMV area.

Donations. If any of the items we remove from the hoarder house are fit and safe to be reused, we will donate them to local charities.
Recycling. Once we have sorted through what can be donated, we sort further into what can be recycled. Once we have separated recycling from disposal, we deliver the recyclables to a local drop-off facility for processing.
Disposal. Unfortunately, some things simply must be taken for disposal. In such a case, we always ensure that those things make it to the proper landfill.

Submitted an online request for a next day pickup to RC Junk Haul of several bulking items I needed removed from my home in Upper Marlboro, MD. A RC Junk representative promptly contacted me to confirm the request and the appointment time.As scheduled, a three person team arrived promptly the next day, provided an estimate for the removal, and upon approval....... immediately removed all of the items requested. I also amended my request on the spot and added an old riding lawn mower to the list. This was a throughly amazing experience. The crew was on time and steadily worked. Rudy was tremendous. They took time for me to look in boxes that I couldn’t reach and they still cleaned out the entire garage in an hour and a half. RC Junk was recommended to me a year ago, when I needed help removing items from my home in preparation a home sale. I postponed the sale, but I still had the contact information in my phone a year later! I was impressed by their timeliness, friendliness, and professionalism, as well as the fair price estimate.I called to request help this year but I was overwhelmed with sorting and purging. To my surprise and relief, RC Junk offered to help me with that process as well! The crew came in like an Army and went to work. They literally pulled boxed from closets as I went item by item making decisions about what to toss, keep, or donate. Wow, just wow! This is one of the best companies I have ever done business with. My house will be power washed and painted next week and I needed to remove some heavy wooden outdoor furniture from my deck. I found RC Junk Hauling through a Google search and called this morning. MaryAnn answered the phone and said they had an opening this afternoon. I mentioned that I had a larger job that could be done later, and she suggested that we do everything today. She called me 30 minutes before arrival. Rudy came with two workers, looked the project over, and gave me a fair price. Just over an hour later everything was done -- the deck furniture and a pile of stuff stacked next to my shed for years, including a wheelbarrow, wooden boat, ladder, grill, sawhorses, plant pots, and several black trash bags. I wish I had thought to take pictures but everything happened so fast! The guys were courteous, careful, efficient, and really strong. I am now motivated to clear out other areas of my house, knowing I have the right team to help me get rid of decades worth of accumulated stuff.

I had to have a washer and dryer removed from a second story townhome and after sending pictures via text I got a call back and had my removal scheduled and done the same day.I felt their pricing is fair for the labor and the customer service was top notch!I highly recommend RC Junk Hauling and I would use them again for future jobs.

Rudi and Miguel did an excellent job with removal of various items from a furnace, small furniture, large roll of carpet barrier and more. I don't know how they did it! Service was fast and they were very courteous even when I added a few items. I'm glad I found RC Junk Hauling via Google search because in addition to great service and customer service, you can't beat the price!!

I'm a general contractor and my regular hauler had become completely unreliable. Searched Google and called a few companies before reaching RC Junk Hauling. MaryAnn was so easy to help me schedule construction debris from a jobsite where the customer was growing increasingly frustrated because my hauler never showed up after rescheduling 3 times Now i have RC Hauling to rely on. Fantastic customer service from start to finish!!! Scheduling the appointment online was quick and easy, the movers were professional and courteous. We had random concrete pieces buried throughout our yard. Some was mixed in with the stone on our property line wall. We lugged it into a few piles.RC was the 3rd company we used for removal. They hauled 7 tons!!! Originally quoted $550 😲!Upon realizing the actual amount we had they apologized and said we need to charge you $650, if that’s okay. Okay?!The last crew, College Hunks, took a small rationing and charged us $1,000 mixing it in with other items in their truck.Rudi kindly explained to my husband mixing the materials in the truck costs exponentially more to dump. He asked if they could bring back an empty truck so it would cost us less!!Wait. You want to charge us less?! Sign me up…We understand hauling concrete is expensive. We understand that each project presents challenges. We have no driveway or alley access to our backyard. These guys hauled 7 tons from our backyard to the front and down 8 steps! 👏🏼We are grateful for this local small business. We will use them again!!

The company did an EXCELLENT good removing the concrete retaining wall that fell in my yard! They were fast, efficient & professional! This was a major undertaking, that required them to. cut the concrete along with shoveling the gravel. I LOVE the finished work. Not to mention that everything was cleaned up!!! Working with those guys along with Rudy, made this experience tolerable! Thanks so much guys!

Let me first start off by saying how amazing Maryann was when I called to explain what we needed for services to be provided at our home. She was such a pleasure to speak with and explained everything perfectly! I am 4 months pregnant and we needed to remove junk from our basement to make room to transport our gym room to the basement to now make a baby room where the gym room was. Rudi and Enrique were absolutely amazing!!! They were on time and so delightful to work with. They removed the junk so fast. We had a lot of stuff. I am so relieved and can’t tell you enough to us them for services. 100 percent perfect service! Thank you so much again for helping us prepare for our baby boy!

This company is awesome! We called about getting some paints (both latex paint and oil-based, plus some wood stain) and furniture and just general junk removed, and the whole process was easy and convenient! From the initial call with Maryann to having Rudy and the crew come over the next morning to give us a quote, it was all amazing! The price was competitive (and we got several quotes from local companies) and very fair. The clean-up was quick and the service was friendly, everyone we worked with was delightful! I highly recommend this company. We will definitely call them the next time we have a big project/clean out!!

I was left with removing tree grinding and ended up with 30 bags. I found out our recycle company doesn't take mulch. So I was on my own to remove it from my backyard. I called RC JUNK on Sunday and was estactic that they remove mulch. They were able to fit me in the next day. They came the next day and took it all away. Very good price. The entire process from start to finish was so easy! The most impressive part was that I was able to text pictures of the items I wanted removed and was then called with an accurate and fair quote within 10 minutes! Mary Ann was accommodating to my schedule and called 30 mins before to let me know the crew was on the way! This is also a local Maryland based company and not a national chain. I prefer to give my money to local businesses. The crew arrived on time; were extremely friendly and were in and out in no time. I highly recommend using their services!

I am happy to give this review. I was in need of junk removal on Wednesday and every company I called, did not offer same day service. Dejected, I was driving home from work and saw RC’s company truck. I pulled over and called the number that was on the side on the truck. Not only was the lady on the phone professional she was able to get a truck to my house within the hour. The guys came in, removed all of the junk that had accumulated over 4years within the same hour. They arrived a little after 7p and was completely finished before 7:45p. Fast, friendly and efficient!!! I definitely would recommend and I have already recommended them to others.

There was a large shed in my backyard that was old and rusty. I needed it to be taken apart and hauled away. Inside junk needed to be removed also. They also helped me to empty out my attic and as items were brought down I was given time to look and make sure what I might want to keep. I had a number of bags of clothing and shoes in large black trash bags that needed to go. The manager Rudy and his crew did an awesome job. There estimate was fair. They accomplished everything I needed done. I am very happy with their professional and friendly demeanor. I would definitely use R J again and recommend to my friends. 😃
